KEO performed all Architect of Record services for the main terminal building at Hamad International Airport, including the main mosque and parking structures.

By liaising directly with the local statutory bodies, KEO’s team of designers and engineers were able to advise and ensure compliance with all Qatar regulatory requirements in terms of the drawings and specifications. Design coordination was
executed throughout the various submission stages for the architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing and fire fighting disciplines.

The main terminal of the Hamad International Airport is large span structure with a curved wave roof and maximum external wall glazing to provide a naturally well lit internal environment. KEO performed Architect of Record services in conjunction with Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum (HOK).
