Our Strategy: How we implement and integrate BIM

BIM is seen as a very promising tool that holds the potential for improving the practice and achieving the industry targets. BIM provides a comprehensive interoperable platform that enables the integration of design, schedules, and cost data.

The project member can access and operate simultaneously, also, information within the

models can be updated. BIM also effectively adjusts the model in response to any change that provides cost managers with a clear picture for making cost adjustments.

C-Quest uses 5D models to download quantities and prepare estimates and bills of quantities. Quantities are generated any time the design is changed, resulting in

up-to-date data that is immediately used to update estimates.

Through an integrated and streamlined process, C-Quest applies BIM using Autodesk’s Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, and Revit MEP Suite of programs as the basis for creating various models. BIM services aim to cover the full life cycle of the building process incorporating 3D, 4D, and 5D BIM and beyond.

Typically, as the Building Information Model develops at predetermined milestones, material quantity take-offs, counts, and measurements are generated automatically. Estimates, pricing, and other supporting data, including specifications of elements, are checked and cross-referenced.

Utilizing BIM software, up-to-date data from the C-Quest division is fed back into the model for instant evaluation by other disciplines, constantly refining the design and monitoring cost implications.
