Operated by Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City is a vast integrated healthcare campus located in Rumaillah, near downtown Doha, Qatar. The complex includes state- of-the-art hospitals, therapeutic and support facilities, residential buildings for staff, the National Health Authority Headquarters, a tunnel road system, and extensive basement parking areas. The expansion program was initiated to meet Qatar National Vision 2030 goals and executed in two key phases.

  • Phase I comprised the core and shell construction of four hospital towers, including accommodation for 2,800 nurses.
  • Phase II involved the design and build of 13 specialized medical facilities, encompassing the full fit-out of approximately 195,000 sqm of floor area. The scope included installation of mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems, alongside works for power distribution, HVAC, medical gases, escalators, elevators, and security systems.

This expansion reflects HMC’s commitment to delivering advanced medical infrastructure, fostering innovation, and elevating healthcare standards across Qatar.
