Overview

PAAET, one of largest educational institutions, expands with a new campus for 5,000 students for two colleges, Colleges of  Technological and Commercial Studies

The Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), one of Kuwait’s largest educational institutions, is developing a new campus in Sabah Al-Ahmad City to accommodate 5,000 students across two colleges — Technological Studies and Commercial Studies. Envisioned as a modern, sustainable academic environment, the campus fosters innovation, collaboration, and community growth.

The master plan integrates academic, administrative, and recreational facilities within a pedestrian-friendly layout connected by shaded streets and elevated, air-conditioned walkways that enhance comfort and accessibility. The campus buildings are oriented east–west to maximize shading and energy efficiency, with male and female colleges arranged on the north and south sides respectively.

The development shared facilities include dining halls, lecture theaters, a gymnasium, and an auditorium, supported by an Energy Center that ensures sustainable operations. Ceremonial entry points, efficient parking, and separate access for students, faculty, and visitors ensure smooth circulation and security across the campus.
