Overview

Qatar Energy District, formerly known as QP District and Qatar Financial District, is a landmark integrated mixed-use development with a built area exceeding 500,000 sqm.

Designed, engineered, and managed by KEO International Consultants, this award-winning development serves as the headquarters for Qatar Petroleum (QP) and exemplifies world-class standards in design, sustainability, and delivery. The Qatar Energy District comprises nine office towers, a five-star hotel with 409 keys, and supporting facilities including parking, a mosque, data center, auditorium, and central cooling plant.

Inspired by the organic geometry of a nautilus shell, the twin spiraling tower clusters create a dynamic visual rhythm across Doha’s skyline. Six office towers ascend clockwise from 18 to 32 storeys, while three towers and the hotel rise counter-clockwise from 27 to 47 storeys maximizing daylight, panoramic views, and urban identity. Landscaped podium plazas with greenery and water features enhance comfort and sustainability, while mashrabiya-inspired façades in terracotta, stone, glass, and metal balance modernity with regional character. A two-storey atrium links the towers with retail, restaurants, and cafés, creating a vibrant, people-focused destination.
